DESIGNOLOGISTS
DESIGNOLOGISTS
We are Alison Lewis and Lauren Egan. We have diverse - and complementary - skills in interior design and decoration. We’d love to share some of the nitty-gritty learnings we’ve made over our combined 10 years in solo practices to help emerging or diversifying designers and decorators confidently communicate with your clients while empowering you with practical skills and knowledge.
Materiology Workshop
Our MATERIOLOGY workshop focuses on the practical aspects of specifying materials and finishes with confidence. We’ll offer an in-depth exploration of various material types and their classifications, ensuring you understand how to select materials that are not only appropriate for your designs but also durable and long-lasting.
Styleology Workshop
Our STYLEOLOGY workshop demystifies the art of interior styling. Whether you're styling for a brand photoshoot, preparing a home for sale, or creating a space that truly reflects your client’s personality, through in-depth insights and practical guidance, you'll learn how to approach each styling type with confidence.
Colourology
Workshop
Our COLOUROLOGY workshop focuses on how to walk into a room, notice important elements and help you consider prompts to tease out how your client wants the space to feel. We’ll provide you with tools to help you select the best colour and how to effectively communicate this colour with your client and other stakeholders.
Acknowledgement of Country
In the spirit of reconciliation Designologists acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respects to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today. As we continue to create on this land, we recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and their practice of art, design and story-telling through colours and patterns that has occurred across Country for many thousands of years.
